ITA Begins Probe Of Chinese Wood Flooring

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 4:56 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration has begun an investigation into whether Chinese companies are selling unfairly cheap wood flooring in the U.S., setting a deadline of August 2011 for its completion.

The ITA announced Wednesday that it had begun an investigation on multilayered wood flooring from China at the request of an ad hoc industry group known as the Coalition for American Hardwood Parity.
