GAO Denies Bid Protest Over Call Box Contract

Law360, New York (November 15, 2010, 5:04 PM EST) -- The U.S. Government Accountability Office has denied the protest of a company passed over for a contract to provide and install emergency call boxes, rejecting arguments that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs should have excused allegedly minor discrepancies in the firm's quotation for the work.
