Union Fights 6th Circ. Anheuser Arbitration Ruling

Law360, New York (November 16, 2010, 1:20 PM EST) -- An Anheuser-Busch Inc. employee and the Teamsters union have challenged a federal appeals court's ruling that the beer giant does not have to arbitrate a pension grievance, claiming that a collective bargaining agreement, not the company's pension plan, should dictate how to resolve the dispute.

In a motion filed Monday the union asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit to conduct an en banc review of a three-judge panel's Nov. 1 mixed decision denying its appeal.
