Total Execs Questioned Over Iran Contracts

Law360, New York (March 21, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Three employees of Total SA, including the company’s chief executive, are being questioned by investigators of the French financial police in relation to an ongoing probe into the French oil group’s activities in Iran.

Total confirmed on Wednesday that three of its employees, including CEO Christophe De Margerie, are being questioned with regards to the ongoing French judicial inquiry into the company’s activities at the South Pars gas field in Iran since December 2006.
