Ex-SiRF Worker Arrested For Alleged Code-Stealing

Law360, New York (November 17, 2010, 4:20 PM EST) -- A former SiRF Technology Inc. software developer has been arrested for allegedly stealing proprietary source code from the San Jose, Calif.-based company and recruiting other SiRF employees to assist him with the alleged scheme.

Zhiqiang Zhang, also known as Michael Zhang, was taken into custody Tuesday by the U.S. Secret Service on charges of possession of stolen trade secrets, conspiracy and foreign transportation of stolen property, according to prosecutors.
