DOC Trims Water Chemical Duties For Chinese Co.

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 5:37 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has opted to lower the margin rate against Hebei Jiheng Chemical Corp. Ltd. in final results of a review of anti-dumping duties on imports of chlorinated isocyanurates.

The results of the review, which covered Chinese imports of the water treatment chemical shipped between June 1, 2008, and May 31, 2009, took effect Wednesday, according to a notice in the Federal Register.

As a result of revised labor costs calculations, Hebei Jiheng earned a rate of 2.66 percent, down from 11.65 percent....
