Porteous Impeachment Report Heads To Full Senate

Law360, New York (November 18, 2010, 5:55 PM EST) -- A U.S. Senate committee has issued a report on evidence presented in the impeachment hearing of federal Judge G. Thomas Porteous Jr., a key step in what may be his ultimate removal from office for alleged bribe-taking and corruption.

The full Senate will now consider the evidence presented in the report, released Tuesday, as a prelude to final arguments from both sides, followed by a vote on whether Porteous should be removed from office.
