Subpoena Crackdown On Oracle Denied In ITC Case

Law360, New York (November 19, 2010, 6:12 PM EST) -- A judge has denied HTC Corp.'s subpoena enforcement efforts against Oracle Corp. in a Section 337 case sparked by Apple Inc., which is accusing HTC and Nokia Corp. of infringing patents related to mobile communications devices.

In an order Thursday, Administrative Law Judge Carl C. Charneski of the U.S. International Trade Commission declined to certify HTC’s request for judicial enforcement of the subpoena seeking information from Oracle covering more than 15 years and multiple versions of a dozen products.
