Procter & Gamble Sues Coca-Cola Over Juice Patent

Law360, New York (September 6, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Consumer products giant Procter & Gamble Co. has filed a second patent infringement lawsuit against Coca-Cola Co., accusing its former partner of infringing patents on preservatives in fruit drinks.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, claims that

Coca-Cola’s Minute Maid line of fruit drinks infringes several P&G patents on processes that control the growth of microorganisms.
