7th Circ. Says Rolls-Royce Didn't Violate Pact

Law360, New York (November 22, 2010, 4:05 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has ruled that Rolls-Royce Corp. did not breach a nondisparagement agreement by referencing a helicopter parts supplier in a lawsuit or kicking the supplier’s owner out of a trade show.

In an order issued Thursday, a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit affirmed a lower court’s rejection of a lawsuit filed against Rolls-Royce by Paramount International Inc. and its owner, David N. Rain.
