Christenson Electric Dealt Retirement Fund ERISA Suit

Law360, New York (March 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Oregon-based Christenson Electric Inc. was hit with an ERISA suit on Wednesday when its retirement trust’s board of trustees accused the company of failing to make employee contributions.

In a suit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Washington, the board of trustees of the 112/73 Retirement Trust Fund NECA-IBEW claimed that Christenson’s actions violate not only ERISA rules but also the union’s collective bargaining agreement with the company.
