China, Mexico Draw High Pipe Anti-Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (November 23, 2010, 2:57 PM EST) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has affixed anti-dumping duties as high as nearly 61 percent to copper pipe and tube imports from China and Mexico, weeks after regulators said dumping was hurting the U.S. industry.

Chinese exporters Zhejiang Hailiang Co. Ltd., Hong Kong Hailiang Metal Trading Ltd. and Shanghai Hailiang Copper Co. Ltd. received dumping margins of 60.85 percent, the highest among companies included in the government's review of seamless refined copper pipe and tube imports, Commerce announced in Monday's Federal Register.
