Nixon Nets Jenkens’ IP Team, Opens Doors In Chicago

Law360 (March 22, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- One firm’s loss is another firm’s gain, and as Jenkens & Gilchrist continues to unwind from a damaging tax shelter scandal, Nixon Peabody has swooped in to pick up the firm’s entire IP team in Chicago.

Thanks to Jenkens, Nixon will add 17 attorneys to its intellectual property practice and will make its debut in the Windy City. The team of new lawyers bumps up Nixon’s national technology and IP practice to 85 IP attorneys.
