Alcoa, Airgas, JVC Hit With False Marking Suits

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 2:15 PM EST) -- Alcoa Inc., Airgas Inc. and JVC Americas Corp. have been slapped with lawsuits accusing the companies of marking their products with expired patents.

Kilts Resources LLC filed a complaint against each of the companies Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, claiming that the companies have knowingly labeled their products with outdated patents in an effort to deceive the public.
