McKesson Wins $44M In Iranian Dairy Stake Suit

Law360, New York (November 24, 2010, 12:15 PM EST) -- A federal judge has awarded McKesson Corp. almost $44 million in damages in its 28-year-old legal battle with the Iranian government over the alleged expropriation of McKesson's stake in an Iranian dairy.

Judge Richard J. Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Tuesday sided with McKesson on its claims under Iranian law and awarded the company $43.98 million in damages and prejudgment interest.
