Ford Wins Verdict In Trial Over Ranger Design Defect

Law360, New York (November 29, 2010, 8:11 PM EST) -- A Texas jury has handed down a unanimous verdict acquitting Ford Motor Co. in a suit that blamed a man's head injury on a design defect in a Ford truck seat.

The jury, in the 136th Civil District Court in Jefferson County, Texas, absolved Ford of liability on Tuesday after hearing over a month of testimony, according to Deborah Bullion of Gascoyne & Bullion PC, who represented Ford in the case.
