CDG Ordered To Pay $7.4M In EEOC Sex Bias Suit

Law360, New York (November 30, 2010, 1:16 PM EST) -- A judge has slapped bankrupt telemarketer CDG Management LLC with a default judgment of $7.4 million over the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's accusations that it had sexually discriminated against female job applicants since at least 2005.

Also in an order Wednesday, Judge Richard D. Bennett of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland denied the EEOC's request to also impose more than $22.2 million in punitive damages.
