Australia Looks To Restore Lobster Exports To China

Law360 (November 30, 2010, 5:16 PM EST) -- Australian trade officials moved Tuesday to ease the export of rock lobsters to China amid reports that the Chinese government had blocked the shellfish imports from Australia.

While Chinese quarantine and customs officials have told the Australian government that they have not banned imports of Australian rock lobsters, Australian trade and agriculture ministers said Tuesday they had received word of difficulties shipping the products and that they were "working to overcome the current trade impediments."
