Ex-Deloitte Partner, Wife Sued For Insider Trading

Law360 (November 30, 2010, 5:11 PM EST) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday accused a former Deloitte Tax LLP partner and his wife of passing along confidential information about mergers to family members in London as part of a multimillion-dollar insider trading scheme.

According to a complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, Arnold A. McClellan and his wife Annabel passed secret information about seven mergers Deloitte consulted on to Annabel's sister and brother-in-law, who ran a derivatives trading company in London.
