EU Court Revives Nike Bid For R10 Trademark

Law360, New York (December 1, 2010, 6:04 PM EST) -- A European Union court has revived Nike International Ltd.'s bid to claim ownership of the R10 trademark, which the athletic gear giant uses for shoes endorsed by popular Brazilian soccer player Ronaldo de Assis Moreira.

The EU's General Court on Nov. 24 tossed the decision from the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market's First Board of Appeal that dismissed Nike's challenge to the ownership of the R10 mark.
