ITC Takes Up Enforcement Proceeding Against SiRF

Law360 (December 1, 2010, 7:46 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission on Monday began an enforcement proceeding against SiRF Technology Inc., its U.K. parent and several of their affiliates after Broadcom Corp. claimed the Silicon Valley company ignored an order prohibiting it from importing GPS devices that infringe six Broadcom patents.

The enforcement proceeding was assigned to Administrative Law Judge Carl C. Charneski, the commission also said.
