Law360, New York (December 3, 2010, 4:48 PM EST) -- A pair of U.S. carbon producers have sued the federal government in the wake of its imposition of a 228 percent anti-dumping margin for carbon imported from China, faulting the U.S. Department of Commerce for its reliance on price data from India.

Price data from Coal India Ltd., used to value energy and steam coal in the absence of Chinese figures, were distorted because of the company's government-owned status, Calgon Carbon Corp. and Norit Americas Inc. argue in a complaint filed Monday in the U.S. Court...
