Stryker Loses Bid To Toss Pain Pump Suits

Law360, New York (December 2, 2010, 7:31 PM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to toss four of five individual lawsuits against Stryker Corp. accusing the medical technology giant of manufacturing pain pumps that cause a degenerative joint condition.

Judge Michael Davis of the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota on Wednesday denied Stryker's motions to dismiss suits brought against it by Robert Partridge, Robert Ridings, Neil Strong and Kimberly D.
