Qantas Eyes Legal Action Over Failed A380 Engine

Law360, New York (December 2, 2010, 1:32 PM EST) -- Qantas Airways Ltd. said Thursday that a federal court in Australia had granted an injunction that will preserve the company's ability to seek damages from Rolls-Royce Group PLC, which manufactured an aircraft engine that failed on a flight from Singapore to Sydney on Nov. 4.
