Bill To Boost Competition For Postal Service Contracts

Law360, New York (December 3, 2010, 4:18 PM EST) -- Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, has introduced legislation designed to attack problems in the U.S. Postal Service's contracting practices as part of a broad set of reforms intended to help the agency find its financial footing.

S. 4000, the U.S. Postal Improvements Act of 2010 was unveiled Thursday in the Senate by Collins, the ranking member on the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
