7th Circ. Refuses To Back Down In Sears Dryer Case

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 3:11 PM EST) -- A federal appeals court has refused to reinstate a class action against Sears Roebuck & Co. that it killed in November or to back down from its pointed criticism of greedy class action attorneys and the “nuisance” plaintiffs lawyer who brought the case.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on Thursday denied a petition from plaintiffs attorney Clinton Krislov to undo its ruling that decertified Krislov's class action against Sears over alleged problems with its dryers.
