Comcast-NBC Deal Extended, Awaiting Regulator OKs

Law360, New York (December 3, 2010, 8:22 PM EST) -- Comcast Corp. has reached an agreement with General Electric Co. on a three-month extension of the pending $37 billion deal that would give Comcast control of NBC Universal Inc., as the firms await key approvals from U.S. regulators

In a regulatory filing Friday, cable giant Comcast said the term of the master agreement was being reset to expire March 3. The initial agreement had been set to expire Dec. 3.
