ITC OKs Probe Into China's Wood Flooring Imports

Law360, New York (December 3, 2010, 6:59 PM EST) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission has given the go-ahead to an investigation into whether Chinese companies are dumping cheap wood flooring in the U.S.

In a unanimous decision Friday, the ITC determined that there is reason to believe U.S. industry is being harmed by the Chinese imports, which are allegedly highly subsidized.

With the ITC's ruling, the U.S. Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration will continue its countervailing and anti-dumping investigations, which began Nov. 10 and are expected to be completed in the spring.
