Ex-KBR Exec Pleads Guilty To Nigeria Bribes

Law360, New York (December 6, 2010, 4:46 PM EST) -- A former commercial vice president and consultant to a U.K. subsidiary of engineering giant KBR Inc. pled guilty Monday to conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act by bribing Nigerian officials for $6 billion worth of natural gas contracts.

Wojciech J. Chodan, 72, a U.K. citizen, was extradited to the U.S. on Friday, where he entered the guilty plea in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He faces up to five years in prison, and he agreed to forfeit about $725,000...
