SNC-Lavalin Sues ATK Over $56M Army Contract

Law360, New York (December 7, 2010, 2:30 PM EST) -- Engineering firm SNC-Lavalin America Inc. has launched a $7 million suit against client Alliant Techsystems Inc. over a soured building project at a U.S. Army facility in Virginia.

SNC filed a complaint against ATK on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia, claiming it committed several breaches of a $56.8 million building project at the Radford Army Ammunition Plant in Radford, Va. The plant makes explosives and propellants for the Army.
