Fisher-Price, Mattel Sue Over Child Swing Patent

Law360, New York (December 8, 2010, 3:51 PM EST) -- Fisher-Price Inc. and Mattel Inc. have accused a rival toy manufacturer of infringing a patent covering a children's swing set.

The two companies filed a complaint against Kids II Inc. on Monday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, alleging the Alpharetta, Ga.-based toy maker infringed U.S. Patent Number 5,562,548 with sales of a swing set that has a rotating feature.
