NJ Doctors To Take Health Reform Suit To 3rd Circ.

Law360, New York (December 9, 2010, 5:30 PM EST) -- A nonprofit doctors group in New Jersey has said it will appeal its challenge to the federal health care reform law's mandatory minimum insurance requirement, following a federal judge's dismissal of the case Wednesday.

In a notice of appeal, attorneys for New Jersey Physicians Inc. said they would ask the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit to hear the case — one of many suits throughout the country challenging the new law — after it was booted on a motion by the federal government....
