Ohio AG Wants Marsh & McLennan Documents

Law360, New York (March 27, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An Ohio court judge will hear the state attorney general's motion to compel Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., the world’s largest insurance brokerage, to give up documents that could show how it fixed prices in the state.

Ohio Attorney General Mark Dann has been investigating allegations that the company inflated price premiums by conspiring with insurers to eliminate competition and mislead customers.

Marsh has handled the insurance bids of Ohio State University, Wendy’s International and American Electric Power, among others.
