J&J Unit Recalls 13M Packages Of Rolaids

Law360, New York (December 9, 2010, 7:31 PM EST) -- A Johnson & Johnson subsidiary announced Thursday that it was recalling 13 million packages of Rolaids after consumers complained of metal and wood products in the antacid, the latest in a string of recalls in recent months by the health care and consumer goods conglomerate.

McNeil Consumer Healthcare said it was voluntarily recalling all lots of its Rolaids Softchews, the company said. The recall affects over 100 lots, or about 13 million packages, a McNeil representative told Law360 on Thursday.
