Judge OKs Skadden's Role As Special Counsel To Dana

Law360, New York (March 28, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A bankruptcy judge has authorized Dana Corp. to retain New York law firm Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom as its special counsel, after the court cleared the firm of any potential conflict of interest.

The petition was granted Monday by the U.S. bankruptcy court in Manhattan, some seven months after Dana first petitioned to have the law firm appointed to the role in its Chapter 11 proceedings.
