Dyncorp Denied Sanctions In Drug Crop Destruction Suit

Law360, New York (December 13, 2010, 4:44 PM EST) -- Dyncorp Aerospace Operations LLC has lost a bid for sanctions against a group of Ecuadoreans who sued the company for alleged injuries stemming from a multibillion-dollar U.S. government program to eradicate drug crops in neighboring Colombia.

Judge Deborah A. Robinson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Friday denied Dyncorp’s motion for sanctions, finding that the company had failed to prove that 20 of  the 3,200 plaintiffs hadn't obeyed a court order on discovery.
