Amerigon Opens New Front In WET Seat Patent Fight

Law360, New York (December 13, 2010, 3:59 PM EST) -- Amerigon Inc. has slapped WET Automotive Systems Ltd. with another suit alleging infringement of patents related to temperature-controlled seats, the latest in a string of legal battles between the competitors.

Northville, Mich.-based Amerigon filed a complaint Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan contending that WET's ActiveCools and ComfortCools products infringe two patents that Amerigon owns by assignment.
