DirecTV Can't Evade Digital Data Patent Suit

Law360 (December 14, 2010, 4:02 PM EST) -- Following Northpoint Technology Ltd.'s reinstatement as a legal entity in Texas, a federal judge has rejected DirecTV Inc.'s argument that the company lacks standing to bring a suit alleging infringement of a patent for digital data transmission.
