Upton Urges FCC To Speed Up Comcast-NBC Merger

Law360 (December 14, 2010, 7:00 PM EST) -- The incoming chairman of the U.S. House Energy and Commerce Committee is urging the Federal Communications Commission to sign off on the proposed $37 billion merger between Comcast Corp. and NBC Universal Inc. before the end of 2010, despite others' claims that the new megacompany would threaten competition in the media industry.
