FedEx Drivers Are Not Employees, Judge Rules

Law360, New York (December 15, 2010, 5:03 PM EST) -- A federal judge has handed FedEx Ground Package System Inc. another victory in sweeping litigation over whether its drivers are independent contractors, ruling that they are not properly classified as employees in most of the 26 states covered by the decision.
