Sendo Settles Trade-Secret Suit Vs. Microsoft

Law360, New York (September 13, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- U.K. mobile telephone maker Sendo has settled a lawsuit with Microsoft in which the U.K. company claimed the software maker stole and disclosed Sendo’s trade secrets to competitors, driving it to the edge of bankruptcy.

The terms of the agreement are confidential, but Sendo confirmed that Microsoft would give up its equity stake in the company.

Sendo had sued Microsoft in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas for fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair competition.
