Baker & McKenzie Snags Lead Madoff Prosecutor

Law360, New York (December 20, 2010, 6:44 PM EST) -- The attorney who helped secure a 150-year sentence for Ponzi schemer Bernard L. Madoff is headed back to private practice, aiming to strengthen Baker & McKenzie LLP's global corporate compliance practice.

Marc Litt, an assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York and the lead prosecutor in the the largest fraud scheme in U.S. history, will join the firm's New York office as a partner.
