UAE Cos. Dumped PET Film, Commerce Says

Law360, New York (December 21, 2010, 5:36 PM EST) -- Two manufacturers in the United Arab Emirates sold polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet and strip in the United States below normal value in 2008 and 2009, according to a review by the U.S. Department of Commerce.

The agency’s International Trade Administration said Friday in a Federal Register notice that an anti-dumping administrative review revealed that PET film manufacturers JBF RAK LLC and FLEX Middle East FZE had dumped their products in U.S. markets between Nov. 6, 2008, and Oct. 31, 2009.
