Regions' $3M Title Claim Against First American Stands

Law360 (December 20, 2010, 1:23 PM EST) -- A federal judge has refused to throw out Regions Financial Corp.’s suit seeking payment from two insurance companies after the bank sought to foreclose on a $10.5 million Florida condo project and learned the title was not clear.

Ruling Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Judge Timothy J. Corrigan determined that claims made by Regions Bank against First American Title Insurance Co. and Chicago Title Insurance Co. could stand.
