Cobalt Defense Nixed In Suit Over Generic Boniva

Law360 (December 20, 2010, 3:21 PM EST) -- A federal judge has dealt a blow to Cobalt Pharmaceuticals Inc. in a legal battle brought by Hoffmann-La Roche Inc. over a generic version of bone-loss drug Boniva, ruling that Cobalt's defense based on the completeness of the patent application does not work.
