Fired Executive Accuses Wal-Mart Of Dirty Tactics

Law360, New York (March 29, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A fired Wal-Mart marketing executive has accused the retail giant of launching a smear campaign in retaliation for her $1.5 million lawsuit.

Julie Roehm said Wal-Mart was trying to publicly destroy her under the cover of a counterclaim, in which the company accused her of an “improper romantic relationship” with an underling in violation of its strict code of ethics.
