Texas High Court Nixes $17M Award Over Bus Crash

Law360, New York (December 21, 2010, 5:59 PM EST) -- The Supreme Court of Texas has overturned a jury verdict ordering Motor Coach Industries Inc. to pay $17 million over a bus crash that killed five passengers and injured several more, agreeing with the vehicle manufacturer that the jurors should have been asked to consider the proportionate liability of the bus owner and operator.
