Judge Refuses To Dismiss Oil Cos.' Price-Fixing Case

Law360 (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A proposed class action suit which accuses the nation’s largest oil companies of using their market dominance to increase the price of gasoline has survived a motion for dismissal.

U.S. District Court Judge Amy St. Eve granted the motion in part, eliminating some allegations against Shell Oil Co., BP Corporation North America Inc., Marathon Oil Co., Exxon Mobil Corp., and Citgo Petroleum Corp.
