House Judiciary Chief To Create New IP Subcommittee

Law360 (December 22, 2010, 1:53 PM EST) -- The incoming Republican chairman of the House Judiciary Committee has announced plans to create an intellectual property subcommittee as part of a reshuffling.

Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, the committee's chairman-elect, said Monday he would reorganize the committee by creating five new subcommittees when he takes up the gavel in 2011.
