Scrushy Violated Terms Of Release: Government

Law360, New York (March 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After Richard Scrushy allegedly violated the terms of his release during a trip to Walt Disney World, the government wants the founder and former CEO of HealthSouth Corp. to start sporting a new accessory – an electronic monitoring device.

The government wants to have Scrushy, who was convicted in June of bribery, conspiracy and mail fraud, placed on home arrest.

In February, the court allowed Scrushy to travel to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., between March 16 and March 24.
